Our Story

BlessOut was created to foster more meaningful connections in a digital age where communication often feels impersonal.

I'm Gary, the creator of BlessOut, and like many, I value the personal relationships that enrich my life. Over the years, I've met hundreds of people who have made a significant impact on me, and I've always sought ways to stay connected with them.

I tried various methods: sending thoughtful text messages, writing dozens of handwritten postcards (which, while heartfelt, were incredibly time-consuming), recording and sending personalized videos, and using existing e-card services. While these gestures were appreciated, they weren't without drawbacks. Mailing handwritten letters required immense effort for more than a few people, videos could be inconvenient for recipients due to large file sizes and lack of context upon receipt, and the e-card services felt outdated, inelegant, and impersonal.

By 2024, I realized that there really wasn't a seamless way to send personalized, soulful messages that were both convenient and heartfelt. I needed a solution that combined the warmth of the human voice with the ease of digital communication.

That's why I built BlessOut—a platform that allows you to send soulful e-cards featuring your own voice, wrapped in a beautiful digital letter. Since late summer 2024, I've been refining this idea, and the positive feedback from early testers has been inspiring.

As a one-person team, I'm excited to offer BlessOut to others who wish to deepen their connections without the barriers of time or cumbersome technology. My goal is to make it easier for people to express genuine care and appreciation for those who matter most in their lives.
